On Wednesday, October 9th, Waldner’s celebrated its 85-year milestone with Cocktails Over The Park: The New Yorker Edition. The evening was nothing short of magical, featuring an array of craft cocktails, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and an ambiance filled with music and laughter. Guests were treated to an unforgettable experience, complete with fantastic raffle prizes that added an extra layer of excitement to the night.

Typewriter Poetry

Cierra & Danielle are poets from Poetry Society NY who created on-the-spot, personalized poems based on prompts from our guests. The process was engaging and interactive, allowing thoughts and feelings to be transformed into beautiful, tangible poetry.

Portrait Artists

James and Mia are artists from Drawn Together NY! They drew dazzling portraits of our guests, James created quirky digital portraits while Mia drew comic style portraits. Check them out!

Cartoon Caption Contest

A staple to The New Yorker Magazine is the beloved Cartoon Contest, where readers submit their own witty captions to a cartoon. In the same style, Waldner's crafted an A&D style cartoon and asked our guests to submit their own captions. Check out our Winner, second, and third place submissions!
